The Problem

  • Solve a societal issue: saving people from natural disasters is dangerous we can use robots instead

  • The evidence that supports the idea is the practical examples of robotics use in search and rescue, and how they are currently ineffective in navigating and helping rescue people. 

Research Question

How can we create the most efficient navigation for an autonomous group of multi-agent robots and build the most versatile robots for search and rescue applications in a dynamic environment with moving targets?
